The name Venus stands for the goddess who protects the plough as well as it represents the fineness, the elegance and the beauty. Owners Bertrand and Emmanuelle AMART belong to wine families from several generations back. In 2005 they decided to create their own property with the name Château Venus. The property has grown from 5 to 7,5 hectares vineyards. Château Venus is the proud producer of around 35,000 bottles a year. Soil / Culture / Harvest The name Venus stands for the goddess who protects the plough as well as it represents the fineness, the elegance and the beauty. Terroir : Gravel with Sand , rigorously Controlled and Elaborated, no herbicides, Manuel Harvest with handsorting tableSettling of must, low temperature maceration, temperature-controlled fermentation, long vatting time. 12 months in barrels (30% new oak).
