Chateau La Selve Serre de Berty Rhone Valley 2009 - Originally, the Château de La Selve was a fortified house first on the frontier of the Empire and then of the Kingdom of France. Today, the producer grows wine with respect for the environment and tries to let the soil express itself. In this perspective, He is always looking for more vivacious grounds for the vine to grow on (I adopted the principles of biodynamic), and, in the cellar for always purer wines that let as much as possible the various lots express their specificities and unique characteristics. Different Plots with calcaire en decomposition argile Montmorillonites and KaoliniteMaturing now, mesquite and mulled spice notes taking over from the core of black cherry fruit. A smoky edge lingers on the finish. Drink now. Tasted twice, with consistent notes.

Long fermentation: 6 to 8 weeks.
Yeast: indigenous.
Aging: 24 months in average in Burgundy barrels.
Unfined and non-filtered.
