Chateau Duhart-Milon Pauillac 2007 - Here, it has a very attractive, well-defined bouquet with graphite and mint to the fore: quintessential Pauillac. The palate has good depth and rounded, firm structure, a little dry and herbaceous but that is all in synch with the rest of the wine. Smooth and polished towards the finish, although it just lacks the persistency of a great wine, but sure to improve with age (as Duhart always is.) Not a compelling wine, a bit robust perhaps, but commendable. Tasted January 2011.
